As of January 1st, 2023, traveling to Croatia will become a piece of cake! Two big changes are coming: The Schengen Zone and the Euro.

Schengen, Europe's passport-free travel zone will be welcoming Croatia as its 27th member. Within the Schengen zone, internal border controls have been abolished which paves the way for easier travel. 

Furthermore, Croatia is changing its official currency from the Croatian Kuna (HRK) to Euro (EUR). Great news for foreign visitors as they won't have to frequent the currency exchange offices!
