Croatian Airports Enter Schengen Regime

Passengers traveling in the Schengen Zone skip internal border control
Croatia entered Schengen on the 1st of January this year, and now Croatian airports have been accommodated for borderless travel to and from the Schengen zone.
The Schengen Area comprises 27 countries: 22 EU states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland. Passengers departing to or arriving from the area will now be treated as domestic passengers - without any document control. This is great news for European travellers, as some Croatian airports, such as the one in Split, have 80% of tourists arriving from the Schengen Area.
This includes Brač Airport, which has regular connections to Zagreb, Austria, Germany, and more! Arriving via plane is the fastest way to reach the island of Brač. When visiting this Meditteranean island, make sure to stop in Bol, a magical little town with Zlatni Rat beach, one of the most famous beaches in the world. And when looking for accommodation, look no further than Heritage Boutique Hotel Villa Giardino - your home away from home
